If you’ve been following my photography for a while, you already know I love creating things almost as much as I love photographing them.
Having The Little Ranch Farm as my photography location has given me the freedom to dream up some pretty crazy ideas over the years. If I want a greenhouse, we build one. If I decide an old piano needs its own house surrounded by huge etched-glass windows, somehow that happens too. 😂 There is always something being built, moved, decorated or changed around here.
But lately I’ve been thinking about how I want to use all of that creativity a little differently.
And that’s where The Farm Collections came from.

The Farm Collections are limited seasonal portrait experiences created and photographed exclusively by Natasha Snyder Photography at The Little Ranch Farm in Santa Fe, Texas.
Instead of creating one setup and leaving it the same indefinitely, I’ll be transforming different areas of the farm throughout the year. Each season will have its own collection with completely different designs, colors, textures and locations.
Some may be big transformations. Others might take a space you already recognize and turn it into something completely different.
The fun part is that you’ll never quite know what’s coming next.
And honestly, neither will I sometimes. 😂
I tend to get an idea, tell my husband, “Okay, hear me out…” and then somehow we end up building something.
The Farm Collections will rotate throughout the year:
Winter Collection — December, January & February
Spring Collection — March, April & May
Summer Collection — June, July & August
Fall Collection — September, October & November
That doesn’t mean I’ll be photographing every Collection every weekend for three months. Quite the opposite.
Each individual portrait experience will have limited photography dates, which lets me create something special without turning my entire calendar into mini-session season.
It also means I get to keep photographing all of the sessions I already love—families, maternity, seniors, couples, children and everything else—while giving my clients a few really special opportunities throughout the year.
This part is important because I don’t really think of the Farm Collections as another round of minis.
Yes, the sessions themselves are short. But the experience around them is much bigger.
I’m designing each setting specifically for photography, choosing the textures and colors, thinking about how people will actually photograph inside the space, and creating something that will only be available for that particular Collection.
They’re meant for more than Christmas cards, too.
Depending on the Collection, these experiences can be beautiful for families, maternity, motherhood, couples, engagements, anniversaries, seniors, children and milestone portraits.
I want someone to look at a Farm Collection and think, THAT is where I want my pictures.
Our first official Farm Collection will run December 2026 through February 2027, and I’m starting with one of my favorite spaces on the entire property.
The Piano House was built specifically to showcase two things I absolutely love—the piano and our HUGE etched-glass windows.
For The Winter Sonata, I’m taking that space and completely transforming it.
Think deep burgundy, warm cream, greenery, vintage sheet music, beautiful textures and candles.
So. Many. Candles. 😂
There are actually 178 LED candles involved in the Piano House, which should tell you everything you need to know about my inability to do anything halfway.
The result is going to be warm, rich and romantic without looking like Christmas. That’s especially important because Winter Sonata will continue into January and February.
I wanted something that felt like winter in South Texas, not a fake snow-covered Christmas set in a place where we’re entirely capable of wearing shorts in February. 😂
Winter Sonata will only be photographed on three dates:
December 20, 2026 — Grand Opening
January 23, 2027
February 13, 2027
Sessions will be 15 minutes with two collection options:
Petite Collection — $275
8 edited images
Full Collection — $350
All edited images, typically around 20
And then Winter Sonata is done.
Eventually, all of that burgundy and winter styling comes down and I get to completely change the Piano House again.
Which, let’s be real, is half the reason I came up with this idea. 😂
There will be several experiences within The Winter Collection, and I’ll be revealing those individually.
At the same time, I’m already working on ideas for Spring 2027.
That’s how I want Farm Collections to work going forward. While we’re photographing one season, I’ll be creating the next one behind the scenes.
So if you love coming back to the farm for photographs, there will always be a reason to wonder what I’m doing out here now.
Because chances are… I’m moving furniture again. 😂
I’ve also created something new for anyone who wants to know about upcoming Farm Collections before they’re announced publicly.
The Farm Collection First-Dibs List will get sneak peeks, upcoming dates, Collection reveals and early access to booking.
No need for another email in your inbox every Tuesday just because it’s Tuesday. 😂 I’ll use this list when I actually have something worth showing you or when a new Collection is getting ready to open.

I’m so excited to finally start bringing this idea to life.
I’ve spent years creating spaces at The Little Ranch Farm, and now I’m getting to combine two of my favorite parts of what I do—building something beautiful and then photographing people inside of it.
I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with this one. ❤️
