Family Session FAQ

When should we schedule our engagement session?
Anytime after the proposal! Many couples schedule their session 6–12 months before the wedding so they have plenty of time to use the images for save-the-dates, invitations, and wedding websites.

What should we wear?
I'll help guide you through outfit selection before your session. Neutral, timeless clothing photographs beautifully, and coordinating is always better than matching exactly.

Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family and are always welcome to join your session.

Can we bring props?
Yes! Champagne, vintage trucks, picnic setups, guitars, boats, motorcycles, meaningful heirlooms, or anything else that tells your story is always encouraged.

Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can be held throughout The Little Ranch Farm, in the indoor studio, or at another meaningful location.

What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Almost every couple says this.
Don't worry—I guide you through the entire session while leaving plenty of room for natural moments to happen. The best photographs usually come from simply spending time together.
